Amadeus and Results Reservation Technologies partner for new low cost airline IT offering
Madrid, July 21, 2005: As part of a major new focus targeting low-cost carriers, travel technology leader Amadeus has teamed up with Results Reservation Technologies Ltd. (RRT) to offer a customer management system, scaled specifically for the needs of small to medium sized low-cost carriers. This agreement brings power and cost-efficiencies to these carriers, in addition to a ready-to-market solution, “Results.”

RRT has a proven track record of providing solutions for low-cost carriers, such as U.S.-based Spirit Airlines and Thailand's Nok Air, and is currently implementing the system at a number of other airlines in Europe and Latin America. Amadeus and RRT have also lined up a launch customer for the joint solution.
In the coming months, Amadeus will roll out additional solutions to answer the needs of growing low-cost airlines in this rapidly evolving market. Amadeus’ IT solutions are currently used by 215 airlines worldwide, providing world class support in managing critical aspects of the service they provide their customers.
